I’ll always dread the 15th of each month.

It’s been 2 months today since I lost my lovely Janey. The 15th April 2019. I think I’m always going to dread the 15th of every month. Still heartbroken. 😥

She wouldn’t have enjoyed all this wet weather at all. Here she is on Tuesday the 11th July 2017 when it was a bit wet out.

Janey not impressed with the wet weather.

Janey walks in the grass.

Some video clips recorded 25th June 2013 with a Kodak Playfull (720p) whilst walking through the grass in the fields of number 1 walk. There’s no sound.

Janeys tongue.

Taken on the 1st May 2013 whilst on our number 1 walk Janey stopped to pose for a #TongueOutTuesday picture.

Doggy hairs.

One thing I have noticed is that for a few weeks now I’ve woken up without any dog hairs in my mouth. Nor have I had to pick any dog hairs off my clothes during the day. Sad really.🙁

Janey running in the garden.

Found some old video of Janey playing ball in the garden. Think it was taken on a mobile phone about September 2014. The video size is only 640×360 at 25 fps and bit size is 4000kbs. But hey it lives!

Whilst copying images and video from various hard drives to a single hard drive (Yet Another Backup) I found the original video source. It wasn’t from a mobile phone but was taken with a panasonic sdr-h80 which uses a built-in hard drive.
The video details being:-

Duration : 1 min 15 s
Bit rate mode : Variable
Bit rate : 8 982 kb/s
Maximum bit rate : 9 510 kb/s
Width : 704 pixels
Height : 576 pixels
Display aspect ratio : 1.738
Frame rate : 25.000 FPS
Standard : PAL

So that’s nice to know. I’m sure the video camera still works but I’m glad I had the foresight to copy off the video to a past PC.

An image with hidden meaning.

Janey: Remember all those conversations at night when I had my head on your shoulder and you were stroking my head?
Me: We had so many conversations. Which one?
Janey: When I said that after I’m gone you should get another doggy like me to look after you.
Me: Oh yes I remember.
Janey: Well I said you’d have nothing to photograph on your walks without me and that when you were desperately needing me you’d photograph anything like the pigeons, food, paper-clips and a pencil.
Me: That’s right.
Janey: Well you’ve started. You’ve photographed a pencil now. You need another me. Maybe not as old as I was, but a bit older.
Me: But I don’t know when the time is right. I’ve always had signs with the others and with you.
Janey: I understand. You’re waiting for my sign. Don’t worry I’ll send you one and soon. Night night.
Me: Night or should I say for old times…”sigh”.
Janey: Sausages?
Me: 😥
